International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women.
This year for International Women’s Day, we wanted to shine a spotlight on some of the women at TCU that make a difference both in our community and at our credit union.

What inspires you most in the world: What inspires me most in the world is how we are able to help each other through connections and experiences.
Describe yourself in 3 words: Supportive, Positive, and Equitable
Something others might not know about you: I love adventures and traveling. I am a bit of an adrenaline junkie and my goals are to continue to develop myself and grow as a person.
Favorite part of working at Triangle: The culture and support that I receive from the company to grow myself not only professionally but as an individual and push my limits.

Best piece of advice you’ve been given: “Time and energy spent on things out of our control is time and energy wasted” & “Amid the struggle, it can be difficult to see the lesson, but there is always one to learn – find it.”
What inspires you most in the world: Hands down, my two-year-old daughter, Elise, inspires me the most in the world — to live boldly and to love deeply.
Describe yourself in 3 words: Listener, Learner, & Leader
Something others might not know about you: Something others may not know about me is that I love to cook, try new recipes and consider myself a snack connoisseur
Favorite part of working at Triangle: My favorite part of working at Triangle is being a small part in so many of our members’ life stories and financial journeys. Whether it be their first bank account, new car, new babies, first home, or the loss of a loved one, we’re there to help them through the process.

How long have you worked at Triangle: 5 years next month
Best piece of advice you’ve been given: “God never gives you more than you can handle”
What inspires you most in the world: My children. I have raised 4 young adults to be everything that is good in the world. They are kind, generous, gracious, courageous, empathetic, and altruistic. I am one proud Mom!
Describe yourself in 3 words: That is difficult because I don’t like to focus on myself. So, the 3 words would be Survivor, Empathetic, and Compassionate.
Something others might not know about you: I am an avid reader and love fiction, non-fiction, and get very excited to receive my National Geographic History Magazine. My passion is learning and I’m very good at trivia nights (kind of a ringer!). I am an animal lover (Mom to Ray-Ray my Peekapoo dog and my 2 Himalayan kitties, Remington & Ripley). I am also a homebody.
Favorite part of working at Triangle: I have loved working here from the first day at TCU. I have forged many meaningful relationships and friendships. I enjoy the path that we are all taking regarding the healthy organizations using the Advantage model, DEI, and core values. Everyone believes our new mantra from the top down. I constantly tell my family what a great place TCU is and how proud I am, not only to be a member, but an employee. I have a sense of family whenever I walk through the doors.

Best piece of advice you’ve been given: “Work hard and be kind to everyone”
What inspires you most in the world: Family
Describe yourself in 3 words: Strong, Confident & Compassionate
Something others may not know about you: My hobby is interior decorating and I do everything myself from wallpapering to making drapes (Daddy always told me “you have champagne taste on a beer budget, so you better learn how to do things”)
Favorite part of working at Triangle: The people — from the members to my team
