Valentine’s Day this year falls on a Tuesday which can be good or bad, depending on how you look at it. For those who like to celebrate Valentine’s Day, you may prefer when it falls on a Friday or a weekend because typically it is easier to celebrate when you don’t need to worry about working the next day.

If you have a Regal Cinemas nearby, Valentine’s Day this year is the perfect night to go on a date to the movies! On Tuesdays, Regal Cinemas offers discounted movie tickets and concessions.
At theatres here in New Hampshire, the discounted movie tickets range from $5.95-$6.50 per ticket. Regal Cinemas also offers 50% off all concessions on Tuesdays for their Regal Crown Club members; membership is free so if you have not already signed up, make sure you do that before you head to the theater.
Going to the movies can be an expensive outing on any other day, which is why we suggest taking this opportunity to watch the latest blockbuster releases for a fraction of the cost!
- Attend a Trivia Night Together
If you live in a city with bars or restaurants that host trivia nights, Valentine’s Day is the perfect time to put your brains together and bring home a trivia win. Trivia can be better with a group of people so feel free to invite some other couples along and make it a group celebration!
If you are in the Southern New Hampshire area, Kelsen Brewing in Derry and Flight Center in Manchester are two restaurants that are holding trivia nights on Valentine’s Day.

YouTube is a great place for information on many different topics, so it makes sense that there are tons of paint night tutorials available with assorted designs. These make the perfect tutorials to follow for a DIY Paint Night.
Head over to YouTube and find the tutorial you want to follow! Then, head to your local craft store and pick up 2 canvases, some paintbrushes, and the acrylic paints you need and then go home and set up your stations!
Make sure you and your partner are wearing clothes that you don’t mind getting paint on and set out some newspaper or old rags/towels over the surface you’ll be working on so you don’t make a mess on your furniture.
Turn the YouTube tutorial on and start painting! Paint nights are fun for everyone, not just those who have a talent for art. Follow the tutorial as closely as you’d like or make your own design changes! There are no rules. Just enjoy spending quality time with your partner.
